Degree Exhibition 2026
Beyond the Frame: Graduate Show 2026
Beyond the Frame: Graduate Show 2026, held at Arts University Plymouth from 19–25 June 2026, marked a significant culmination of Miller’s interdisciplinary practice and brought together a critically resolved body of sculptural and installation-based work developed through sustained material and theoretical enquiry. The exhibition extended her investigation into sensory perception, spatial encounter, and material articulation, foregrounding an immersive and process-led approach to installation.
Operating at the intersection of research and practice, the exhibition positioned exhibition-making as both a conceptual and experiential framework through which questions of embodiment, affect, vulnerability, and tension were explored with rigour and sensitivity. The work’s engagement with material resistance, psychological pressure, and bodily awareness was recognised through the awarding of the Platform Graduate Award 2026, the University Publication Award 2026, and nomination for the Pro Vice-Chancellor’s Award 2026, acknowledging the breadth of Miller’s interdisciplinary contribution across sculpture, installation, writing, and research-led practice.
With the exhibition now concluded, Beyond the Frame remains a pivotal point within the ongoing development of Miller’s practice, consolidating the relationship between material process, critical enquiry, and immersive spatial experience that continues to inform her subsequent work.
